Clients also should:
- Avoid tanning beds, sun exposure, waxing, chemical peels, Botox or collagen injections on the area(s) that will be lasered for 3-4 weeks prior to the procedure.
- You MUST shave the treatment area 24 hours prior to your appointment. NO waxing, or tweezing.
- Avoid perfumes, deodorants, creams, lotions, or any potential irritants in the treatment area before your treatment.
- Avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs and herbal supplements due to increased risk of bleeding.
- If you are currently taking a "Light Sensitive" medication, or antibiotics please consult with your physician prior to treatment.
What to expect after the procedure:
Following treatment, clients should expect:
- Redness and swelling of the hair follicle, which is a normal occurrence.
- Minor Pain and/or discomfort, which can be easily treated with over-the-counter pain medicines.
- To avoid direct sun exposure for at least one week following all laser hair removal procedures.
- Apply sunblock (spf-40) to the treated areas.
